Pay It Forward Friday

Did any of you see Lenzi's "Pay It Forward" post at Homemade Happiness this week? You need to check it out because it will make you feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

To kick off the weekend, I treated myself to Starbucks this morning. (I usually try to keep it in the treat category as opposed to the daily routine category. I've been down that path before and it's not pretty for the bank account or my jean size.)  This morning, I decided someone else should have a Friday treat too. 

So, this morning at Starbucks, I treated the woman in the car behind me to her coffee. I have no idea who she was other than she drove a silver Saturn, was wearing a gray turtleneck sweater and was putting on/touching up her make-up in the drive-thru line like me. (Don't judge, I was in a rush.)

Chris, my Starbucks boyfriend barista, was more than happy to help me pay it forward this morning. He even thanked me for including him in the fun because he was excited that he got to be the one to deliver the good news. So I made Chris's day and the Saturn lady's day.
